Jeanette is the visionary behind Alicedda Catering Services in Ghana, renowned for transforming events into vibrant culinary experiences. Through weddings, parties, and cultural festivals like the Festival of African Cuisine Summer Edition, she celebrates Ghanaian food culture with creativity and excellence.

Her work has been recognized at prestigious venues such as the British Council in Accra, underscoring her impact on Ghana’s culinary scene.

Chef Cynthia Obeng

I learnt to cook at home from the age of 9, watching my mum in the kitchen and helping prepare family meals.

I hosted my first dinner party at just 10 years old. My favourite dish to cook is jollof rice because I love the ingredients, the depth of flavour, and the patience it takes to perfect it.

I have been cooking for over 44 years and enjoy creating bold Afro-fusion flavours inspired by my heritage and street food culture.

Chef Angel

My name is Angel Daniels, and I am the proud owner of Kaccy’s, a West African restaurant in Croydon Old Town. I have been cooking from a young age, learning from my beloved mother.

Cooking is my passion, and my goal is to bring joy while connecting people and traditions through great meals.

Chef Chiz Zambia

Camden-raised and Zambian-born, Chiz Kaluba is the founder of Bantu Belly Catering.

He innovatively blends his Southern African heritage with contemporary UK ingredients.

Catch his ZamBites street food pop-up, featuring popular dishes like Bantu Bangers & Mash, fortnightly at Upmarket Foodhall in Brick Lane from mid-June 2026.

Chef Erichei - Angola

Chef Eriche is the face behind Afro Portuguese Cuisine Ltd. I was born in Angola,raised in Portugal and UK.

I have a passion for cooking in which I've started cooking at age 12 when my mum was pregnant.

As a big sister I had to cook for my youngest siblings so I grew that passion in being in the kitchen and trying new things till today

Chef Ewura

Ewura's Kitchen is a pan African catering service. It offers delicious, well prepared nutricious produce.

Every dish is cooked with love and expertise. When growing up, the founder developed a deep love for food watching home cooks.

As an adult, she trained in a professional kitchen before becoming a chef.

Chef Mabel Gachala-Motswagole

Mabel Gachala-Motswagole , is the owner of DinhoDoskie ltd t/a MowanaPot. Chef Mabel is from Botswana.

She specializes in authentic Tswana Cuisine, featuring dishes like Dikgobe and Seswaa and has been in business for about a year.

She's excited to bring a taste of Botswana to the festival
